There's Big Trouble on Earth!
Nena and the GoogolKids are having trouble learning their times tables! Send in the Googols, who use their powers to make multiplication an exciting adventure that journeys "from the jungles deep in Africa, to the icefields of Antarctica" and even into outer space! Follow Azatara, Cozmo, El Mundo the Great Wizard, and their friends Mr I. and Gary Q, as they use music and exploration to learn all about multiplication.
This 92 minute DVD includes additional music, dialogue, skits, and a Learning Lady lesson.

The GoogolKids (a group of children) take some photos of famous sites around the world. Gary Q explains that any number multiplied by one will stay the same. Nena (a puppet) raps the 1x tables.
Two Two Two (2x)

This music video is a duet sung by Mr. I and Azatara (a puppet) to a group of children. Greetings in different languages from around the world are introduced. The GoogolKids practice skip counting and the 2x tables.
Ancient Egypt (3x)

Mr. I and the GoogolKids fly over the sites of Egypt on a magic carpet. Watch out for that mummy! The children learn about ancient Egypt while practicing their 3x tables. Includes skip counting.
Animals of Africa (4x)

Azatara and El Mundo (puppets) arrive in Africa to sing about its native animals. They count the animals' legs to learn multiplication facts. Children will hear "real" animal sounds while practicing their 4x tables and skip counting.

Travel with El Mundo the Great Wizard as he sings about five great cities in North America. See sites from Guadalajara (Mexico), San Francisco, New York, Washington, D.C., and Vancouver (Canada) as you multiply by five. This video uses great visuals as counters to demonstrate the sets or groups used in multiplication.
Penguin Rap (6x)

Mr. I and the GoogolKids are off to visit Antarctica where they are met by Pythagorus the rapping penguin (animation). This song gives a brief introduction to the ecological system of Antarctica and focuses on the six times table. The video shows the groupings used in multiplication for some of the equations.
Googol Power Song: Cardio's Warmup

In this fun song, Cardio the Googol leader coaches the other six Googols through their singing warm-up. Flip and Flop (twin brothers) have a quarrel and are sent for a Googol time out. Children will learn the character names, colours (seven colours of the rainbow) and their Googol powers (large numbers). The notes of the musical scale are given.

Yodel Odel Eight (8x)

El Mundo and two of his Googol Guides climb Mount Everest as they practice yodeling and multiplying by eights. This fun music video includes real footage from an Everest ascent. Practice your 8x tables and skip counting, but be careful not to fall!
