My hobby is keeping snakes and other reptiles. I hope to work in a zoo someday. I make my own cages for my snakes and lizards. I use math when I measure the wire, wood, and Plexiglas to make the cages. I also use math in the daily feeding and care of my home zoo. I have to measure the food and supplements that are given to each animal in order for them to maintain their best physical health. Each animal is on a special diet, so I maintain directions and records of their feeding habits and growth.
