The principles that I want to share with you is from what I learned at my school. The first one is transformation. It is the study of how to find the image of a point or an object in several ways using coordinates. There are three divisions of transformation, translation, rotation and enlargement. By using calculations several mathematical techniques like matrices, the image of a point or an object can easily be discovered.

Nowadays, peoples using this method to track down something using map which equipped with coordinates. Military of Defense especially will use this method to track down any criminals, unknown objects, or anything else that occur in their countries.

Secondly is the probabilities. It is the study of how to know the chances to get success or even failure in things. By using several formulas and calculations, we will know the likelihood of a success or a failure.

This method plays a big role in human lives. For example, a parent may not know the gender of their unborn child. So, by using the probabilities concept (Mendel's Principle), he will know the chances of having a son or a daughter, a child with a curly hair or a child with a straight hair, or even a child dark skin or a child with a bright skin. Even the child's blood type can be estimated with the probabilities principle that is in the Mendel's Principle.

Both principles discussed are widely used nowadays. Mathematics does contribute to significantly to our lives.
