Introducing more than one topic to a lesson
As one mother put it so beautifully, "you can't just go into the forest to teach your child about the trees without learning about the earth, the birds, and the insects."
Children are born loving to learn about the world around them and their learning follows their own natural curiosity. To keep this interest, children should be shown the relationship among topics. For example, why not show that "math is part of everything." This makes math so much more interesting — and you can learn about everything else as well!
Our layered learning music presents "googols" of information to spark curiosity. Children will be inspired to pursue their own interests, which is how the love of learning develops.
